This course develops the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in Supervisory or Management roles within a business, Government and non-for-profit organisations. This qualification is for individuals that display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others.
Students enrolling in Diploma of Leadership and Management must be employed in a supervisory or management role and have at least 5 years’ experience in this role or a similar role.
Vocational Training Services provides individuals with Learner Guides, Assessment Tools and Workshop hand-outs.
The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process involves the collection of relevant evidence to meet the assessment requirements outlined within the qualification. Once the criteria is met, the qualification can be awarded.
The process is not intended to be time-consuming or require a laborious search for historical evidence. Most of the assessment involves direct interview and observation related to your employment and collection of paper-based evidence to support your nomination.
Undertaking this mode of assessment can be advantageous to those candidates who have:
