Aboriginal School-based Training

The Aboriginal School-based Training program is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students full time in years 10, 11 and 12. The ASBT program aims to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students gain basic skills and training skills to keep studying after school or get a job.

Eligible secondary school students participating in Aboriginal School-based Training (ASBTs) may be able to access fee-free training where a funded place is available.

You will not pay any course or resource fees for your training. You may need to buy tools, protective clothing and/or text books for your course.
