VTS Joondalup Training Centre Relocates to Enhanced Facility

VTS Joondalup Training Centre Relocates to Enhanced Facility

Vocational Training Services is relocating its Joondalup hospitality training centre to an improved facility in January 2026.

Since opening in Joondalup in early 2021, VTS has successfully trained numerous hospitality students in the northern suburbs, helping them launch careers in cafes, restaurants, bars and hotels across Perth. The strong demand and success of the program has enabled us to move to a larger facility better suited to hospitality training.

An Improved Training Environment

The new centre features three spacious, air-conditioned training rooms with a layout optimised for hospitality education. The facility provides dedicated spaces for both practical and theory-based learning, from barista skills to front-of-house service.

Students and visitors will also benefit from free and ample on-site parking—a significant improvement that makes accessing the centre easier for everyone.

Programs and Training

Our experienced trainer and assessor Nicola Dench continues to lead the Joondalup team, bringing the same tailored, hands-on approach that has made the program so successful. Nicola works closely with each student to ensure they have opportunities to complete their workplace training in their ideal environment, understanding that flexibility and support are key to student success.

Students develop practical skills in customer service, food and beverage service, barwork, plate carrying, teamwork and complaint handling. The hospitality training includes real workplace shifts, giving students genuine industry experience before they graduate.

The centre will continue to offer:

SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Future Chef Program

BSB30120 Certificate III in Business

AE378 Business Ready Skill Set

Opening Dates

The facility opens on 5 January 2026 when VTS offices reopen after the holiday break. Training commences on 14 January with the Future Chef program and Certificate III in Hospitality courses.

The relocation represents VTS’s ongoing commitment to providing quality training facilities that support our students’ career journeys. Job seekers in the northern suburbs can now access an enhanced training environment designed to set them up for success in Perth’s thriving hospitality industry.
