VTS Trainees Recognised at the 2025 Maxima WA Awards

The 2025 Maxima WA Awards celebrated the achievements of trainees across Western Australia, bringing together graduates, host employers and training partners for an evening of recognition at Aloft Hotels Perth. As a long-standing training partner of Maxima, Vocational Training Services was proud to support this event and to see the success of trainees we work closely with.

One of the night’s major honours went to Vylette Burns, who was named School-Based Trainee of the Year. Vylette is completing the BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills with VTS and continues to demonstrate commitment, professionalism and a strong work ethic throughout her training.

Vylette also delivered the Acknowledgement of Country on the night, opening the event with confidence and maturity.

Her VTS trainer, Claire Baker, shared her praise:

“Amazing student, polite, well versed and happy to complete any work I asked her to do.”

Vylette’s award reflects both her dedication and the support she has received from her host employer, Clough/Webuild, as well as the ongoing partnership between VTS and Maxima to create clear, supported training pathways for young people across WA.

VTS congratulates Vylette and all trainees recognised at this year’s Maxima WA Awards. We remain committed to working with Maxima to equip learners with practical skills and real opportunities for future employment.
